This is a good head start for complete beginner. He covers almost all the basics a beginner
needs and make us learn by making interesting apps which you can showoff to your friends ;-). You also get some freebies with this course.

But I also should mention that this is not enough. This course lacks lot of best practices and fail to teach many libraries that every Android dev uses.

@yaswant-narayan Except this course is now outdated. It's even still using Java; the current development language for Android is Kotlin.
